Your Program

Choose from locations in south, west and north India:
o    Goa, a popular state with beach-side towns on the west coast
o    Bangalore and Mysore region in south India
o    Shimla, in the Himalayan region in northern India

Following your orientation week, tailor your program to suit your interests and contact us to discuss your opportunities.

Week 1 – Orientation Week: All programs commence with a week-long introduction week. It is the first step for a successful stay in India and is dedicated to getting to know India and meeting other participants. During this time volunteers learn about the "do's & don'ts" of the Indian culture, visit nearby palaces, temples and museums, receive basic yoga,, language and cooking lessons and more. You will have time to meet the local people, taste the food and learn about the Indian customs. During this period, volunteers will also be informed in detail about their program and project.

Week 2 onwards: The volunteer placement and projects will be organised individually, according to your preferences. Choose from a range of areas to get involved in, such as working in schools, social projects, health care, ecological or construction. Depending on the placement volunteers may live in host families, local hostels or in one of our regional centres. Meals are provided.

Optional Program Extras: Spice up your travels with a week-long trekking trip, yoga course or working in an elephant sanctuary. 

Program Fees

Progarms start every Monday and are flexible in length. If your preferred progarm duration is not listed below, feel free to contact us for a personalised quote.

Included: transfers upon arrival and to projects sites, administration fees in home country and India, orientation week, food and accommodation, local assistance, support and advice, reports, project information and material, completion certificate at the end of your program

Not included: airfare, visa fees, travel and health insurance (mandatory), spending money
